What this site is

This site presents professional services and published writing. The pages describing training, coaching and consulting are an invitation to make contact, not a binding offer. No service is contracted, and no payment is taken, through this website.

How an engagement is agreed

Enquiries sent through the contact form are answered individually. Scope, format, schedule and price are set out in a written proposal, and a contract exists only once that proposal is accepted in writing by both sides. Until then nothing on this site commits either party.

Consumers

Where the client is a consumer within the meaning of Law 24/96 of 31 July, the pre-contractual information and withdrawal rights of Decree-Law 24/2014 of 14 February apply to distance contracts, and will be stated in the proposal. Consumer disputes may be submitted to an alternative dispute resolution body: [ENTIDADE DE RAL COMPETENTE — ver www.consumidor.gov.pt].

Content and reuse

The text, images, layout and code of this site belong to their author and are protected by copyright. You may quote short passages from the articles with attribution and a link. Reproducing whole articles, or reusing the design or photographs, requires written permission.

Photographs of third parties, event footage and institutional logos, where they appear, remain the property of their respective holders and are used within the terms agreed with them.

Accuracy and availability

Content is published in good faith and kept current as far as is reasonable, but is provided without warranty. Articles reflect professional opinion and experience and are not advice for a specific situation. The site may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside the author's control.

External links

Links to other sites are offered for reference. The author has no control over their content and accepts no responsibility for it.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes fall to the courts of [COMARCA], without prejudice to any mandatory rule that gives a consumer the right to a different forum.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top always reflects the version in force.
